(Chicago) The House Pension Investments Committee met in Chicago on Tuesday to hear testimony from the state’s pension systems about how they invest their money. The committee also heard from outside experts about the pros and cons of certain investments. This committee was formed after Crain’s Chicago Business magazine published an article entitled: Pension Peril: Illinois TRS goes higher risk with investments in December 2011.
