Rep. Cross Pleased $136 Million Allocated in IDOT

ICC ANNOUNCES NEW 331 AREA CODE FOR 630 REGION
8/7/2007 3:23:00 PM The Illinois Commerce Commission has announced that the area presently served by area code 630 will receive a second area code this fall. The 331 area code will "overlay" the existing territory in order to supplement the telephone number supply. The 630 area code officially reached "exhaust" in late June. Though individual telephone numbers remain available in 630, there are no more unassigned prefixes available for assignment. The first prefix in the new area code will become effective on October 7, 2007.

Rolling on the River Event
