Rep. Cross announces this program through the Illinois CPA society
In the spirit of Veterans Day, Rep. Tom Cross (R-Oswego) alerts residents in the 84th district about a FREE tax servicethat is available to the immediate family members of deployed members of the military through the Illinois CPA society.
“There are so many men and women deployed in war zones overseas, this program through the IL CPA Society gives them one less thing to worry about here at home,” Cross said.
The Illinois CPA Society matches military families with CPA volunteers near their homes here in Illinois. To qualify, you must be an Illinois resident who is also employed by the United States Armed Forces, has served in a combat zone, qualified hazardous duty area or in a contingency operation according to the Military Family Tax Relief Act of 2003.
For more information contact the Illinois CPA Society at 1-800-572-9870.
